Inspiration
Look around us. Everywhere the coffee scene consists of heavyweight brand names - with its prominent locations and full-fledged service, and then several independent cafes with the handwritten menu, homely feel, and smaller demographics of constant visitors. The former is where we often go to for convenience, but the latter is what keeps us alive. Small cafes are where we had our first date, where we study for important exams, where we sit and contemplate for a long time at moment when we need to be left alone. Sippy was an idea to help everyone feels that way again - the appreciation to smaller and livelier cafes. With Sippy, we envision a community of cafes unburdened by the need to constantly market to new customers, and we help coffee lovers discover new spots to savour good coffee, meet, read, and fall in love again.
The name Sippy comes when I'm shopping for my 1-yr old daughter's drinkwares, and just found out it's called 'sippy cup', lol. I thought that's cute.
What it does
Sippy is a cloud-based cafe management system + loyalty. Cafes can run POS and manage inventory, and connect to their loyal customers. Coffee lovers can discover nearby cafes, and earn rewards.

This is a solo project built with Cursor, Claude 4.5 Opus, GPT-5-Codex, and deployed on Vercel.
