The SIPPAHealth and SIPPAHealth Gear app aims to liberate and consolidate your historic vital sign information into a standards compliant CCD electronic health record format, which can be shared with compatible health care providers.
With your consolidated vital sign information in electronic format, the SIPPAHealth Gear app further provides visualizations of historic trends in your health information. Trends in BloodPressure, BloodGlucose etc. help provide a more accurate state of your health and indicate if any current treatments are effective.
The SIPPAHealth Gear app is bundled with a companion SIPPAHealth Hub which interfaces with various health monitoring devices such as blood pressure monitors, glucometers, SPO2 monitors etc. The SIPPAHealth hub provides a common interface through which various Samsung Gear or Android applications can consume vital sign information through a JSON based API via Bluetooth.
Security and Privacy of all health information in our ecosystem is paramount. All information exiting the SIPPAHeatlth hub is encrypted in accordance with FIPS 140-2. Health records retained on the user’s device are also encrypted.
The SIPPAHealth ecosystem including the SIPPAHealth Gear app aims to empower the patient by providing all the pieces required for an effective patient centric healthcare model. By completing the circuit of end-to-end patient monitoring, treatment feedback and visualizations for consumption by both the patient and the provider we anticipate better healthcare outcomes.
