Inspiration### H3

The very wealthy have always been able to afford to pay expensive money managers to manage and invest their savings, but financial APIs and DeFi in the late 'Tens' let Singular extend a similar service to people with a ~$10k net worth instead of ~$5M using Distributed Ledger Technology for the unbankable in emerging markets.

Singular is on a mission to fundamentally transform wealth management to democratize first-class investing to the masses on a global scale starting with the XRP Ledger.

Founders are Stanford alumni and finance professionals with experience from FINRA, Hedge Funds investing, QNB Finasbank.

What it does### H3

Singular is the Active Investment Management App built on the XRP Ledger that's looking to give users superior market returns. It invests in the most popular holdings of top 5% performing Crypto-assets and tracks the top-performing Crypto fund managers globally.

AI advice and DeFi capabilities will likely enable Singular to democratize investment solutions for the unbankable and middle class in emerging markets.

The Singular App allows users to easily invest in a professionally managed cryptocurrency portfolio, without holding user assets.

How we built it### H3

Robo advisors like Wealthfront and Betterment or active managers like Two Sigma or even Interactive Brokers are already using machine intelligence.

However, the frantic evolution of DeFi together with the mainstream adoption of machine learning technologies are forging the path towards Intelligence DeFi protocols. With the combination of AI and machine learning, The Singular App aims to create a decentralized, trust-less, intelligent financial services in a beautiful mobile app.

Challenges we ran into### H3

Singular to maximize our recent momentum, expand our product to other algorithmic advisor domains ( focused on Algorithmic personalized hedge), and to continue to develop software that automates services traditionally provided by personal bankers and wealth managers.

Accomplishments that we're proud of### H3

We went live 6 months ago, now growing 25-30% MoM and have a solid and scalable sales pipeline. Singular is democratizing active, sophisticated wealth management for the masses utilizing artificial intelligence and current generation of DeFi protocols.

Existing 50k database from our educational platform and Viral Campaigns, 12k users for the Singular mobile app v1 on IOS and Android. Funded by StartupBootcamp Fintech with $115k investment and F10 Singapore.

What we learned### H3

Wealthfront and Betterment do a good job in democratizing traditional investment management. Facebook's Novi Wallet (previously Calibra) proves that simplicity on the Front-End is key to scaling a crypto-based token like Diem.

There are decentralized apps like Binance but the mobile implementations are too complex for the average investor or have bad UIs. We believe cryptocurrencies are the best medium to achieve scale and transform what investor products people have access to on a global scale.

What's next for SINGULAR### H3

Singular wants to do for DeFi Sophisticated Investment Management what Wealthfront did for Investment Management.

Singular is aiming to combine Decentralized Finance and AI to unlock a new level of innovation starting with Singular's Mobile Centric DeFi App.
