Sing Song

Inspiration

Sometimes it's hard to sing songs that have different accents, or are in different languages, than what we are natively familiar with.

What it does

It helps users practice and train their pronunciation of songs.

How we built it

We built it using python and javascript. We utilized various libraries and api's to take advantage of speech to text and text parsing techniques, as well as audio file analysis techniques.

Challenges we ran into

Efficiently comparing text strings, giving good feedback, and general building of the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to persevere over various hardships, such as drinking a shit ton of caffeine as your hands are shaking from the caffeine you've already consumed

What we learned

We learned how to design a project, how to work with react, and how to work with apis. We also learned how to work on projects in a short, focused amount of time.
