Inspiration

As a resident of Sindh, I was struck by the fact that there is no dedicated crime dashboard for the region, despite the rising crime rates in recent times. With so many incidents occurring, having a data-driven platform to analyze and visualize crime trends is crucial.

What it does

• Crime Hotspot Detection – to identify high-crime areas.
  
• Anomaly Detection – to flag unusual crime patterns.
  
• Interactive Visualization – Presents crime data through charts and graphs for better understanding.
  

How I built it

• Backend Framework: Flask (Python)
  
• Frontend: React.js
  
• Data Visualization:Tableau

Challenges we ran into

• I had to understand how to preprocess crime data effectively before applying clustering algorithms.
• To integrate AI in website was quite challenging.
