Sincerely Me reimagines digital communication by bringing the intimacy and thoughtfulness of handwritten letters to the digital age.

Inspiration

The ubiquity of digital communication—email, texting, social media—has led to a decline in letter writing. While extremely convenient, modern communication methods sacrificed the personal connection and emotional resonance inherent in handwritten correspondence. Sincerely Me is born from a desire to bridge this gap. We aim to infuse digital communication with the thoughtfulness and intimacy of traditional letters, from the unique character of individual handwriting to the anticipation of a carefully delivered message.

What it does

Sincerely Me recreates the tactile process of sending a handwritten letter in a digital space. Users begin on a virtual desk where they can:

Compose with Personality: Freely rotate a digital sheet of paper to their preferred writing angle and utilize a digital "toolbox" offering various decorative stickers to personalize their letter's style.
Fold, Enclose, Stamp & Address: Visually fold their letter in thirds, insert it into a digital envelope, choose a virtual stamp, and write recipient information on the envelope.
Send with Anticipation: Swipe the addressed envelope off the right side of the desk to send their virtual letter. The recipient will receive your letter 3 days later.
View your Archive: Access a pull-down "archive folder" at the top to view sent letters (with delivery status) and received correspondence.
Receive Notifications (via Widget): Keep an eye on your mailbox widget! You might have mail ;)
