Inspiration

We all know that humans can make mistakes, but we also believe in the power of change. No one is purely good or bad forever. This is especially true for ex-convicts. They've made mistakes in the past, but that doesn't define their future. They, too, have the capacity for transformation.

However, in reality, many ex-convicts face immense challenges despite their efforts to become better individuals. Society often struggles to trust and accept them. This is why we created SINAP.

What it does

SINAP is a platform dedicated to helping ex-convicts prove that they have changed or are committed to changing for the better. Through our platform, they can access a wealth of positive resources to learn and develop both hard and soft skills. This empowers them to become more productive and valuable members of society.

Not only that, but SINAP also provides them with opportunities to find jobs that match their newly acquired skills. This holistic approach ensures they can lead better, more fulfilling lives.

How we built it

We built SINAP as a web-based application. First, we identified the root of the problems and inferred possible solutions. Then, we designed the system and created mockups on Figma before coding. Once the design was complete, we started converting it into a real website using Laravel as our framework.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges such as limited internet access, time constraints, physical fatigue, and difficulties in data collection and system development.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our project is unique and unprecedented. We are proud of its potential for continuous improvement and future development.

What we learned

Creating this app taught us valuable lessons in time management and teamwork. Efficient use of time was crucial to avoid waste, and strong team collaboration was essential to ensure each milestone was achieved on schedule.

What's next for SINAP APP

We hope that SINAP APP can continue to develop and be beneficial to the public. We also aim to collaborate with many professionals and legal institutions to maximize its usefulness.
