Inspiration: We are convinced that an efficient eradication of the disease requires to understand the spreading of the virus in a community, and the impact of coercitive measures on it.
How we built it: For this, we decided to model the population and its dynamically changing interactions as individuals. We decide to have clusters representing cities, neighbourhoods, shops, public places and homes, and to incorporate basic routines in the movement of people in the clusters.
Challenges we ran into: The coarseness of the modélisation is not very easy, and requires thinking a bit ahead what parameters are important.
