Inspiration

I wanted to see what The Sims might look like if reimagined in a distinctly Polish context. From PRL nostalgia to modern humor, this project is a playful AI experiment blending pop culture and satire.

What it does

"Polish Sims – Life Under the Trzepak" is a short AI-generated simulation where Sims speak Polish, wear black tracksuits, eat pierogi in space, and wait at the local trzepak for a tram to Żabka. It’s part comedy, part cultural remix.

How we built it

• Visuals: AI-generated Sims-inspired characters and environments.
  
• Audio: AI-created soundtrack inspired by Sims music, with a Polish twist.
  
• Editing: structured into a satirical short trailer mixing PRL atmosphere and Sims humor.

• Translating uniquely Polish cultural references into the Sims format.

• Keeping consistency across surreal AI scenes.

What we learned

AI can be a cultural remix machine, turning everyday details (like Żabka or trzepak) into storytelling elements. It can be both funny and nostalgic at the same time.

What’s next

Expand into a full “Polish Sims” episodic series exploring life under the trzepak, complete with family drama, lost pool ladders, and pierogi parties in orbit.
