Employing complex business logic in WhatsUp Gold requires complicated scripting that is: error prone; requires development skills; and, is time consuming to update and maintain. This hackathon proposal will showcase integration between WhatsUp Gold and Corticon to simplify creation and use of decoupled complex logic modeled by non-technical subject matter experts. Example use case will be routing of alerts to appropriate people based upon schedules, alert type(s), impacted devices/applications, peoples’ areas of expertise…etc. May also explore additional automated decisioning use cases such as complex root cause analysis, selection of optimal remedial actions, proactive preventative maintenance recommendations…etc.
