Inspiration
In recent years i have various family members which have unfortunately had to attend hospital for various reasons from palliative care to healthcare check-ups, I myself had an unfortunate incident whilst on my travels where i broke my ankle abroad and had to spend time in hospital to recover. One of the key things post surgery i really enjoyed or at least looked forward to after the first occasion was the catering, luckily for me my experience was great, the service was efficient, quick, and regular in the efficiency sense, however this experience hasn't always been shared and inconsistent dependent on a multitude of factors ranging from costs with service providers in the UK with budgets constraining staffing such as caterers, porters, cleaners etc.
I would propose automating processes such as catering delivery, cleaning and medicine dispensing via automated robots.
What it does
Maps out hospitals in order to effectively calculate do time distance calculations therefore able to forecast number of robots given the service x number of patients.
How I built it
Not built as of yet, identifying proof of concept with technologies and API's given my experience and existing use cases out there already.
Challenges I ran into
Technical aid and expertise to build a partial working model.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
What I learned
The impact non hard systems requirements and proposed expected outcomes from this project can be hugely beneficial given the correct implementation, based on various studies ranging from nutritional health and time medicinal prescription delivery.
