How it works

Inspiration

The inspiration for Simplicaid came from recognizing the overwhelming complexity and time-consuming nature of Medicaid applications. We saw a pressing need for a tool that could simplify this process, making it accessible and less intimidating for users.

What it does

Simplicaid, through its EasyMediFill feature, automates the Medicaid application process. It pre-fills lengthy PDF forms using user-provided information and document uploads, ensures accuracy, and provides guidance for complex sections, drastically reducing the time and effort needed to complete applications.

How we built it

We developed EasyMediFill using advanced OCR for data extraction from documents and AI to intelligently fill out the Medicaid forms. We prioritized a user-friendly interface and incorporated error-checking algorithms to minimize mistakes, all while ensuring data security and privacy compliance.

Challenges we ran into

One major challenge was creating an intuitive user interface that could handle various form complexities.

What's next for Simplicaid

Looking forward, we aim to expand Simplicaid's capabilities to include more forms and services, such as renewals and updates to Medicaid applications.
