Inspiration I am inspired by the vision of a world where communication is accessible to everyone, especially for the deaf community relying on Indian Sign Language (ISL).

What it does SilenceSync captures real-time speech, converts it into text, and plays corresponding ISL animation videos instantly during conversations.

How I built it I built SilenceSync using Django for the backend, JavaScript for speech recognition, HTML, CSS(BOOTSTRAP), and mapped words to ISL videos stored locally.

Challenges I ran into I faced challenges syncing audio and sign videos in real-time, handling speech variations, and managing WebSocket communication efficiently.

Accomplishments that I am proud of i created a working system that bridges live speech with ISL animations, promoting inclusivity and breaking language barriers.

What i learned i learned about real-time communication systems, speech processing, WebSocket handling, and the importance of accessibility-focused design.

What's next for SilenceSync: Bridging Voices and Signs I plan to expand the vocabulary, Real time converter on Video Calls, improve sentence-level translations, and integrate dynamic AI-generated ISL animations for even smoother conversations.
