Simple Weather App

Whether you have an interview, a fancy date or school; weather remains the deciding factor on your mood, attire and your first impression. Thats what we made; a way to see your day in a few clicks.

Inspiration

our inspiration was the fact that whenever you get ready in the morning, you check the weather to see what to wear and it also depicts the mood you will have for the day

What it does

you simply enter your city , click the search and there you go! The weather, the humidity, and the wind speed are all depicted

How we built it

we used open weather AI a free API service to find current weather data and we used that data to fetch information about the city the user enters

Challenges we ran into

we had issues with the API working it took a while for the API to actually even work; after that I had to look at some documentation with css for styles because we were not too proficient with css

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we are proud of creating a function search button and functional use of an API

What we learned

how to use APIs, create functioning buttons in html, utilizing data from APIs, learning a bit of css along the way

What's next for Simple Weather App

probably a repository on github and maybe a layout for data that depicts weather throughout the week
