Simple Subway was designed with one thing in mind - simplicity. My biggest source of inspiration for the app was the subway itself. As an avid subway rider, I am constantly asking myself, what is the fastest way to get from point A to point B? As an app developer I ask myself the same question, namely - how can I gain the most amount of knowledge, from the fewest amount of clicks? I believe I've come up with an app that does just that.
My target is user is anyone with an Android smartphone - I designed this app so that the least technologically savvy person could use it without any problem.
The features that I'm most proud of are the sliding drawers and the gaussian blur. The sliding drawers + gaussian blur allow you to see subway status information, while at the same time knowing that your trusty subway map is always one swipe away.
