Simple Reminder App

Inspiration

We hope that this project will be helpful to people with alzheimers or struggling with remembering to do important tasks!

What it does

A simple reminder web browser app that anyone can use! Users can create reminders (i.e: taking medication, doing an assignment) with a personal message, set an alarm at a specified time, and view their list of completed reminders!

How we built it

Delegated tasks for front-end and back-end

Challenges we ran into

The front-end was nextjs and back-end was java, having the two languages communicate was more difficult than expected.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to have completed our first ever Hackathon and can present a submission.

What we learned

Learned to make use of libraries/frameworks and learned more about API. We hope to do better for next Hackathon after realizing where are our abilities currently lie.
