Inspiration

It all started when our school's garden started to die in christmas recess. We needed some way to keep it watered and maintained without the need for us to be there.

What it does

SiMonAHE monitors environmental factors including temperature, ambient humidity and soil humidity, and based on these factors it waters the garden.

How we built it

We used an Arduino to process all the sensors' data and activate the water valve. It also creates a WiFi Access Point, which allows the user to monitor the temperature, ambient humidity, soil humidity and activate the water valve, all from a simple web page.

What I learned

I gained a lot of programming experience while working in this project, especially in the Arduino field.
