Inspiration
The competition is fierce worldwide, companies compete with each other and the management focuses on the cost production while trying to keeping its energy footprint low.
This is the basis of the development of the SIMOGGA Solutions aiming at Visualizing, Quantifying and Optimizing the shop floor layout, the MRO processes as well the Warehouses.
What it does
We want to use the data collected by the WIP Manager and propose:
- New shop floor layout increasing the capacity of the factory and reducing the production costs
- Optimized MRO processes increasing drastically the usage of the material by reducing the time required to repair, maintain it
- Optimized Warehouse management to ensure that the customer waits a minimum of time at the desk or waits for the delivery
How we built it
We will integrate the Brilliant Manufacturing APIs [1] to our Solutions [2] [3] and

Challenges we ran into
Keep the jobs local by supporting their employers visualizing, quantifying and optimizing their operations is key.
The challenges we run into are multiple
- Collecting data takes weeks
- Collecting RELIABLE is very difficult due to the fact that the production changes quite often due to operational reasons

What we learned
- Extract-Transform-Load data from the field (a mix of spreadsheets and ERPs) takes much more time than expected
What's next for SIMOGGA Predix
- Integrate SIMOGGA Solutions with Predix and GE Brilliant Manufacturing Suite APIs
