Inspiration
We have discovered that existing online tools for making polls are often very complex and lacks in terms of sharing / reporting functionalities.
For this reason, we wanted to create a MVP of our very own poll making tool.
What it does
Simbly provides you everything you need to setup a small poll, share it and analyse the results.
Current version of the tool allows to share only via link, but future versions allows also embedding to a web page, QR codes and similar.
How it's build
The tool is build with Ruby on Rails and energy drinks.
Challenges we ran into
Lack of time and proper UX/graphics things.
Accomplishments that we are proud of
We managed to create MVP of a simple polling tool in 48 hours from scratch.
What we learned
We should have planned our features little bit better and try to come up with a team quicker.
