Our MVP demonstrates how fragmented public data can be transformed into a searchable, map-based community intelligence platform, helping reduce the time and complexity involved in finding information needed for local decision-making. Over the next 14 days, our focus would be on gathering user feedback, improving performance and reliability, integrating additional high-value datasets, strengthening our data pipeline, and making the search experience more intelligent and user-friendly.
Long term, we envision developing a specialized civic intelligence agent that can analyze multiple datasets, identify patterns and potential community issues, and generate evidence-backed reports for planners and local officials. A complementary public-facing platform could allow residents to explore their communities, follow local projects and progress, understand the data behind decisions, and provide feedback—ultimately connecting public data, local decision-making, government action, and community transparency in one system.
