Inspiration

Did you know that over 70 million people worldwide use sign language as their primary form of communication? Yet, many struggle with being fully understood in everyday interactions.

Very few people understand sign language, which makes it difficult for sign language users to communicate. They can't express their thoughts clearly, and others struggle to understand them.

This inspired our team to create Silent Voice, a real-time sign language translation app that bridges this communication gap by converting sign language into text and audio and vice versa.

imagine using the app for a quick communication with someone who is deaf or non-verbal.

To make this happen

• “We use computer vision and machine learning to interpret gestures in real-time through a camera.

With Silent Voice A doctor can communicate with a deaf patient in real time. Friends can easily chat without needing to know sign language. There will be Smooth communication between a deaf employee and co-workers using the app.
