Inspiration
Security is a big issue for data centers, so we thought about using Leap Motion sensor to recognize gestures in order to add a new security level.
What it does
It recognize gestures to secure places. For example, if the gesture is recognize as correct, the sensor can send a signal over the internet to open a door. If the gesture is not recognize, the sensor can turn on an alarm. It's a really discrete new security tool which can be used in future datacenter or other sensitive places.
How I built it
We built it using Leap Motion and a Photon Board. The Leap Motion detect gestures and the Photon Board turn on the LED or the buzzed depending on the information.
Challenges I ran into
One challenge was to send the Leap Motion information to the Photon Board.
