Sign Me Sporty

A chance to try your new future

Our Aim This application will enable people of all ages, gender and ethnicities to try new sports. Whether it’s trialling a new club or observing already established teams during a game. The goal is to help people come out of their shell after the epidemic and help with the insecurities of trying something new.

The Purpose If multiple people sign up to these trial days at clubs near them then there will be others around them in the same position. If this is successful then people will try new sporting activities and become part of a team, boosting economic growth and participation in local and regional sporting events on an international scale.

Schools will be able to implement this application and take students out during their Physical Education time to a local club to try out something new.

Future Prospects This will be a great opportunity for both the local clubs and ‘trial students’ to exchange details or give out leaflets explaining what their club does and how they can benefit from it. Enabling more people to sign up.

Application development It will be a simple process where clubs submit their trial days. The ‘trial students’ will submit their available days and the system will match them up to an open spot. You can include surveys, sign up links, collect data on attendance… This application does nothing but bring people together and starts ‘normality’ again. There will be language preferences (for non national speakers), gender (for seperate sporting teams)... The selection would be personalised and tailored to the individuals personal preferences.
