What it does

SignLink revolutionizes communication by translating sign language into spoken words and text, and vice versa, in real time. 🤟🔉 Designed to tear down the barriers between the deaf, mute, and hearing worlds, it offers an accessible, inclusive platform for all. Through its audio and text capabilities, SignLink ensures no conversation is ever lost in translation.

How we built it

Leveraging Java and the powerful MediaPipe framework, we embarked on creating an Android app tailored for the deaf and mute communities. 🛠️📱 MediaPipe's hand tracking solution enabled us to accurately recognize American Sign Language gestures, transforming them into spoken words and text. This blend of cutting-edge technology ensures SignLink is not only innovative but also highly responsive and user-friendly.

Challenges we ran into
