Inspiration

A demo can look polished and still make claims its evidence does not support. We wanted a release check that makes that gap obvious before a builder shares a product story with users, teammates, or judges.

What it does

SignalCut's Claim Review asks a project to declare each release claim and link the exact evidence behind it. The review desk then shows the claim beside its sources. If the link is missing, the release does not quietly turn green: it says Needs proof.

The live Threadloom example includes one deliberate gap: a solo-play claim with no supporting source. The correct result is visible in the app, not hidden in a footnote.

How we built it

We added Claim Review during OpenAI Build Week as a deterministic claim-and-evidence layer over SignalCut's existing demo workflow. Codex and GPT-5.6 helped shape the contract, build the review engine and responsive desk, add adversarial tests, and verify the public deployment.

What we learned

A model should not be allowed to declare that a screenshot proves a sentence. SignalCut verifies declared evidence links, exposes the missing ones, and keeps visual judgment with the human reviewer.
