Inspiration

What it does

Inspiration

Product builders often receive feedback from many messy sources: user interviews, support tickets, app reviews, surveys, sales notes, and team discussions. The hard part is not collecting feedback, but turning it into clear product decisions.

SignalBrief was created to help makers, founders, and product teams move from scattered feedback to focused action.

What it does

SignalBrief is an AI-assisted product thinking tool. Users paste messy user feedback into the app, and SignalBrief helps generate:

  • Pain point clusters
  • Key user needs
  • Product opportunity areas
  • MVP priorities
  • User stories
  • A concise one-page product brief

The goal is to help people understand what users are really asking for and decide what to build next.

How we built it

We are building SignalBrief as a web app with a simple feedback-to-brief workflow. The product focuses on clarity, speed, and usefulness for early-stage product decisions.

Challenges

The biggest challenge is designing AI output that feels practical instead of generic. We want the result to help users make real decisions, not just summarize text.

What we learned

This project is helping us practice product thinking, AI-assisted prototyping, and how to turn a small idea into a working product people can try.

What's next

Next, we plan to improve the quality of the product brief, add export options, provide better example datasets, and use analytics to understand how people interact with the tool.
