Inspiration Wireless communication is an important part of our daily lives, but interference can reduce signal quality and communication reliability. This inspired us to explore how a single interference source can affect wireless signals and how it can be detected and reduced.

What We Learned Through this project, we learned about the basics of wireless communication, signal interference, frequency, signal strength, and noise. We also understood how interference can affect data transmission and lead to poor connectivity.

How We Built It We designed the project to demonstrate the effect of a single interference source on wireless communication. We studied the transmitted and received signals and observed how interference changes the signal quality. The system focuses on identifying the interference and improving communication reliability.

The basic relationship between signal quality and interference can be represented using the Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio (SINR):

S I N

R

P s P i + P n

where P s is the desired signal power, P i is the interference power, and P n is the noise power.

Challenges We Faced One of the main challenges was understanding how to distinguish the desired wireless signal from interference. We also faced difficulties in maintaining stable signal conditions and analyzing the changes in signal quality.

Overall, this project helped us understand the practical impact of interference in wireless communication and explore ways to achieve more reliable and efficient wireless connectivity.
