Inspiration

Traditional leadership evaluations often rely on subjective, isolated reviews that fail to capture holistic growth across multiple competency phases. We were inspired to build an objective, data-driven framework that models leadership evolution dynamically using weighted multi-stakeholder inputs. CHM™ Evaluation was created to bring mathematical precision to leadership development.

What it does

CHM™ Evaluation is a live simulation engine that tracks and calculates leadership growth in real-time. It processes multi-stakeholder evaluation scores across four distinct developmental phases:

  • L1: Baseline (20% Weight): Initial behavioral and baseline competency tracking.
  • L2: Ideation (20% Weight): Measuring creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • L3: Presentation (20% Weight): Evaluating communication, pitching, and executive presence.
  • L4: Hackathon (40% Weight): Assessing high-pressure execution, technical delivery, and practical implementation.

How we built it

  • Frontend & UI: Designed with a clean, responsive layout featuring interactive sliders for live score manipulation and instant algorithm feedback, deployed on Vercel.
  • Evaluation Algorithm: Powered by a weighted multi-phase scoring matrix that computes aggregate leadership growth dynamically as users adjust stakeholder metrics.
  • Backend & Hosting: Integrated with robust cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and seamless simulator responsiveness.

Challenges we faced

Calibrating the weighted impact of diverse phases—such as balancing high-weight execution phases like the hackathon against foundational baselines—required fine-tuning the underlying mathematical model to ensure realistic, proportional growth outputs.

What we learned

Building CHM™ Evaluation demonstrated the power of translating qualitative human behaviors into structured, transparent quantitative metrics, creating a powerful tool for modern corporate training and mentorship evaluation.
