Inspiration
my dad is a professor in university teaching mental illness and talks with a lot of people who dont talk so I suggested that this will be a project I wanna make
What it does
It translates sign language moves to letters
How we built it
we built it using mediapipe api to get relations and save them in a dictionary
Challenges we ran into
Some errors I didn't understand like how np.append works
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Sometime it works and sometime it doesn't
What we learned
more mediapipe and numpy new to cv2
What's next for Sign Language Translator
making it translate sentences instead of one word
