Inspiration
I’ve been investing my own money (and whatever my parents would give me) since freshman year of high school, hoping to be the next TJR or big investing guru. I used platforms like Robinhood and Webull to trade everything from options to crypto, but I would spend hours each day looking for trades and studying charts. This eventually took time away from school, so my grades tanked freshman year, and the worst part was that I was still making bad trades. After losing almost all the money I had and all the money my parents lent me, I quit...
Luckily, during sophomore year of high school, I was able to build a YouTube channel that earned me back some money, so toward the end of sophomore year I decided to invest my money again, but this time I didn't want to waste my time looking for trades. So I decided to build Sight: something that could handle a lot of the hassle of trading for me and give me more time to focus on school and YouTube.

Who is it for?
Sight is built for students, beginners, casual investors, and anyone in between who wants to understand the market without spending hours looking for the right trades. Sight brings market data, AI analysis, charts, portfolio tracking, and investing tools together in one place to make investing simpler and less time-consuming for our audience.
What does it do?
Sight is basically an AI investing assistant built to take the hassle out of investing. From my own experience, I know that investing is super confusing, especially for a beginner, which is why Sight simplifies the whole process. Instead of using a bunch of different websites for charts, fundamentals, indicators, and market information, all you need is Sight, which brings everything together in one easy-to-use app that also integrates AI into your investing decisions. Users also have access to features like adding stocks to a watchlist and viewing advanced charts via TradingView.
Sight's AI also finds and analyzes the market for potential trades and gives you AI-generated analysis explaining its decision, which you can decide whether or not to act on. You can even snap a picture of any stock chart and have Sight analyze it. Users can also connect supported brokerage accounts to Sight, see their actual portfolio, and submit real trades all without leaving the app. Trades are then logged to a user's journal so they can see their trading progress directly in the app.

Technologies Used
I built Sight with React Native and Expo, using Vibecoding AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, OnSpace, and Lovable. Supabase handles storage for certain aspects, while OnSpace handles things like user accounts, authentication, and email verification. I also connected multiple APIs to bring live stock prices, fundamentals, technical data, and other market information into the app.
The AI works using OnSpace; it takes market data, technical information, GEX, price action, outside information, and order flow all into consideration when it makes its decisions. The AI moves system only surfaces 85% confidence-rate trades to minimize risk. Other features like the Camera let users upload a picture of any stock chart and get an AI breakdown. This system uses OnSpace's AI system as well. I also integrated TradingView through a webview for more advanced charting and SnapTrade to securely connect supported brokerage accounts, pull portfolio information, and support real trade submissions. The actual payment system is powered by RevenueCat.
What Makes it Innovative?
- Everything in one place - Market data, charts, technical indicators, AI analysis, portfolio tracking, and brokerage connectivity.
- AI-powered trade analysis - Sight analyzes potential trades and explains the reasoning behind them.
- Camera chart analysis - Users can take a picture of a stock chart and have Sight analyze it.
- Brokerage integration - Users can connect supported brokerage accounts, view their portfolio, and submit supported trades.
- Saves time - Sight reduces the need to jump between multiple investing apps and websites.
