Inspiration## Inspiration

Born in Sydney with Chilean roots, I’ve witnessed how hard it can be for international students — and skilled workers (Spanish) — to adjust, learn English, and build a better life. Many dream of coming to Australia or advancing in life, but the process is overwhelming: language barriers, financial struggles, mental health pressures, and a lack of personalized guidance.

I wanted to create a guide, a coach, a buddy — someone (or something) that could support people at every stage of their journey. That’s where Lobito.ai was born — an AI-powered assistant that helps users prepare emotionally, mentally, and practically for a successful future.

🎯 Who It’s For

Lobito.ai isn’t just for students. It’s built for:

  • 🧒 Primary & secondary school students learning languages or building confidence.
  • 🎓 Tertiary students preparing for study or work abroad.
  • 👩‍💼 Skilled workers who are already job-ready but need support with confidence, mindset, communication, or direction.
  • 🌍 Migrants & future residents seeking real guidance on how to succeed in Australia and beyond.

🧠 What I’ve Learned

Through this project, I’ve learned to:

  • Build with empathy — not everyone’s journey is linear or easy.
  • Use AI voice tools to create real-feeling characters that engage and encourage.
  • Combine gamified education, job-readiness, and emotional wellbeing into one platform.
  • Rapidly prototype features with BOLT AI to validate real use cases.

How we built it (With ChatGPT and BOLT)

They helped me and will continue:

  1. Plan and design user journeys with tools that map emotions and actions.
  2. Build characters like Lobito using AI-generated illustrations and voices.
  3. Create MVP flows with real-world integrations (GPT-4, Whisper, ElevenLabs).
  4. Design wireframes, pitch decks, and marketing in one seamless creative loop.
  5. Prepare for future token-based reward systems, resume builders, immigration info feeds, and mental health check-ins.

Challenges we ran into and are currently reviewing

  • 🔊 Voice-to-voice integration for real-time interaction at scale.
  • 🔌 Connecting to live immigration, education, and health APIs.
  • 💬 Gathering live feedback from users across different backgrounds.
  • 📈 Building a platform that supports both learning and earning sustainably.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is more than an app. It's a platform to support real people with real dreams — whether they’re a 10-year-old spanish speaking kid curious about English, or a 35-year-old thinking of career changing or starting fresh in Australia.

What we learned

I’m building more than a tool.
I’m building a bridge between goals, cultures, and opportunities. Lobito is now officially the central figure, the driving force behind your entire platform. He’s the host, the influencer, the prime mover — the one everyone turns to.
