Have you ever tried planning something as a group? People not coming together, not knowing what to do and eventually the whole plan getting called off? We have a solution: SideQuest!
What it does
Is a website/App designed to make planning and sharing a plan for a trip extremely easy and intuitive. In fact, you can even add your friends (through email invites) to the respective trips themselves. And have no idea what to do? Using our built in AI, we can give you a detailed itinerary based on exactly what you are looking for.
How we built it
Powered by a FireBase server for our backend functionality and flutter for our UI and widgets, we developed multiple pages, animations and pop-ups sequentially.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenges we ran into were regarding requesting friends to join the trips, we solved this by creating fields in our structure specifically tailored to our needs and then referenced these using clocks continuously to update. We are extremely proud of our UI Design, error handling and flexibility in range of trips to create.
