Inspiration
This project was inspired by the idea that friendship is not something that just happens, but something that grows through interaction. In daily life, people form bonds by communicating, sharing experiences, and understanding each other’s differences. I wanted to create a project that reflects how small actions and choices can slowly build stronger connections between people.
What it does
SideBySide is an interactive project that allows users to connect through recommendation based on answered questions and mini games. This website will promote the goal to encourage people to collaborate to gain mini prizes.
How we built it
We built SideBySide by first designing the concept and user flow. Then, we divided tasks among team members and worked on different parts of the project such as the interface, logic, and user interactions.
Challenges we ran into
We faced several challenges, including merge conflicts and time constraints. Sometimes different versions of the code caused errors, and resolving conflicts required communication and patience. Managing time was also difficult because we had to balance this project with other responsibilities.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Accomplishment that we are proud of is that we learn different coding languages.
What we learned
We learn different google API that help coding easier and mongoDatabase We were nervous because it was our first time working with these two
What's next for SideBySide
In the future, we would like to add more interactive features, improve the user interface, and collect user feedback to make the experience more engaging and meaningful.
