In a world of retail therapy, sometimes not all things we purchase are really necessary

What it does

Before you make questionable online shopping decisions, BudgetBun will ask you if you really need to make a purchase. This idea aims to make more mindful consumer decisions!

How I built it

A super simple design concept in figma! Ideally this would be designed as a chrome extension

Challenges

I was unsure if i should even submit for this hackathon out of intimidation but i decided on an idea about 2 hours before submision and began to work on it!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm glad i mustered the courage to make something super quick! just for fun!!

What I learned

Even if you are so low on time just try stuff out anyway just because! you wont get anywhere if you dont at least try and its okay to not get where you wanted to be!

What's next for BudgetBun

Some features I had in mind upon designing:

A history of your purchases and your explanations you provided
setting your own preferences on what makes the bun will appear (price of product, product amount, paying for a subscription service)
