Inspiration

We all are aware of climate change which is causing a significant raise in temperature gradually .

What it does

  1. For starters, it would provide a personalized report to all individuals about their carbon footprints.
  2. Further Shride application, an exciting idea for the carpooling app designed for the organization for a nice brainstorming kickstart of the day.
  3. It will guide all for the basic practices that can be followed to reduce carbon footprints on an individual level as small steps would result in conquering the heights.

How we built it

I have used Monday.com (Low-No code) platform to prepare tables and Dashboard including embedded HTML code, interactive forms, Reports, and graphs. Major idea is to emphasize on Shride app and individual reports made by using automation and Eledo API integration to generate custom PDF report and send it directly to the client. As we have embedded the elements in the website seamlessly for more convenience "https://pranavsuri96.wixsite.com/hackathon"

Challenges we ran into

Some components are yet to be supported by the monday.com platform like the "Formula column" for designing automation around sending formula-based columns in reports and mail. Permissions distribution has to get more detailed based on record and table level for more accuracy and contribution perspective for developers and users. Dashboard components are yet to be refined for faster loading and retrieving data but work perfectly if embedded in other websites.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Have successfully not only automated personalized reports but included an app as well emphasizing some aspects of individual contribution to reducing carbon footprints. At last embedding all elements seamlessly in a website.

What we learned

Tremendous detailed automation and integrations. The versatility and flexibility of the platform helped me a lot from a no-idea individual to being an Environment and climate enthusiast.

What's next for ShRide

It is only one side of the story. further principles will be more motivational towards more apps and contributions.
