Showfile is a web-based app that is your personal profile for live music shows. It’s designed to help festival-goers discover new artists and relive the experiences they’ve shared at the show.
Showfile helps you:
Decide who to see by combining schedules, live videos and artist data along with the opinions of other Showfilers
Connect with your friends by seeing which bands are on their radar as well as their festival history
Remember the joy by keeping track of who you’ve seen live, who you’ve loved, and who you have shared good times with at the show
Decide who to see: By leveraging the power of YouTube, Twitter, Last.fm and the Lollapalooza API, we collate a wealth of data about each artist to help you see the best shows. For each performance at a given festival you can see:
- Live concert footage (check back after the show, and you’ll find footage of that exact performance!)
- Similar artists
- Genre information
- Other upcoming festival performances
- Who else is going
Connect with your friends: If you have a particular friend whose taste in music you enjoy, you can view their Showfile and see which sets they’ve added by simply clicking on their name. You can learn more about their taste in music, which performances they’ve seen, which shows they’ve loved, and what is on their upcoming festival schedules.
Remember the joy: Showfile has all Lollapalooza performances since the festival first came to Grant Park in 2005. Users can reminisce about previous years by viewing live concert footage, adding performances to their Showfile, and seeing who else attended the same sets. And since we go to more than just Lollapalooza every year, you’ll find more than just Lollapalooza.
Showfile was brought to life because festivals and live music are highlights on our calendars and have this amazing way of connecting people through music. Before the festival, Showfile is here to help you discover new artists and build excitement, and when the festival ends, Showfile helps you relive those great moments you shared with the artists, fans, and friends.
