Inspiration:
I wanted to create the skeleton of a website that has the comprehensive information that sports players and their families need to prevent concussions and other head injuries.
What it does:
As of right now, not much besides provide the framework for building out the website further.
How we built it:
Using browser-based IDE repl.it.
Challenges we ran into:
I had extreme time issues due to other commitments this weekend. Additionally, I have not done website development in a while, and am extremely rusty.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
Getting back to web dev! I worked on some CSS topics I had trouble with in the past, and just had a good time coding again!
What we learned:
That practice truly makes perfect. I know it sounds cheesy, but I found out that I need to work on my skills to produce better-quality projects that function fully.
What's next for Should I Wear A Helmet?
More functionality, and links attached to the buttons. Possibly a quiz so users can find the best head protection for them.
