Inspiration

I wanted to use this tool for our other startup company: FavorIt. So we decided to build it for all companies to use now.

What it does

Shorten.AI automatically watches Youtube videos for companies, clipping these videos for the company and generating valuable insights such as mentions, competitor analysis, market analysis, market sentiment, and so much more.

How we built it

We built it using PostgreSQL and Next.js + React. We used Youtube_API and Open_API

Challenges we ran into

A lot. Scraping the necessary data and generating clips was quite difficult. Even finding relevant data took almost half of the Hackathon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to say we completed analysis on multiple companies and we will be using this product for ourselves as well.

What we learned

We learned that Philly is cold and the perfect place for a Hackathon. Actually though, we learned how to use Youtube_API to get valuable information and how to complex search large APIs and transcript generation and using different Open_AI models for different purposes.
