Inspiration
Our inspiration was to create a website which can be used by beginner programmers learning Shortcut features and how to guides.
What it does
Our website features a series of Shortcuts and how to guides for both eclipse (java) and visual studio code softwares.
How we built it
We incorporated html, css, and Javascript. Html and css were used to create the pages. Javascript was used to make the search bar functional
Challenges we ran into
We ran into challenges using github. Making sure each person pushed their branch properly and merged according.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of finishing our first hackathon! Happy we created a functional website in 24hrs and happy we developed a useful development tool for beginner programmers.
What we learned
We learned how to deploy our app using fly.io and incorporate Javascript to make a functional search bar. To Deploy : type "Fly.io" in terminal
What's next for Shortcuts
Next steps would be to refine the how to guides perhaps add more detailed steps. And as we progress in the cst program add more programs into Shortcuts.
