Inspiration
The world is transforming to performing tasks with voice. So sending messages with Alexa is beneficial for blind people as they do not have to type on mobile phone.
What it does
It takes mobile number of recipient and sends messages to it. It can also send message to multiple mobile at a time.
How I built it
I built it with help of Alexa developer console with Python as language and IntelTechSms api provided in RapidApi platform.
Challenges I ran into
I have to provide all possible ways to accept a valid mobile number as people spell mobile number differently.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Building voice application with Alexa and a service attached to it was great.
What I learned
I learned how api works with voice control flow and how to structure applications.
What's next for short voice sms with alexa
I would next try to provide calling serivce with sending long messages.
