Inspiration

Our project was inspired by the day to day needs of Wayne, our group member who actually has dementia and expressed his needs to us

What it does

It reminds people of their shopping needs so they don't need to remember on their own. It connects to smart devices so those living with dementia can simply tell their devices that they need something once they run out and not have to remember to write something down. This simplifies their shopping process significantly

How we built it

We designed this with figma after conducting interviews and usability tests.

What we learned

So much about dementia and user centered design. This was our first time doing research like this and it was an incredible process. We learned how to ask the right questions, affinity mapping, usability tests and so much more
