We know, we didn't meet all the hackathon criteria, but if our project can be useful, we are ready to help
Problem
A lot of local stores in our country are closed because of government decision. This will slow down the spread of the virus, but it is ruining many small local businesses. Some shops are allowed to stay open. But most people don't want to risk infection so they prefer buying things in eshops.
Solution
In the past we have developed a software application Shopino, which is an inteligent shopping assistant. Over the last few weeks, we've discussed how to help small local stores survive the crisis. We started working on the development of the Shopino Platform, which will help to turn local shops into e-shops in a very short time. And so it will help them stay alive and survive the difficult period.
What we have done during the weekend
During the weekend we have prepared a new business model for Shopino Platform. My teammate Jaroslav Klein provided me with information about his platform and technology. He created a drive in demo video. Jaroslav is a product owner of a Shopino application and a Shopino Platform.
The solution’s impact to the crisis
Many of local businesses will survive and thanks to the Shopino Platform, a lot of people keep their financial income. If it rolled out to all european countries, it would help milions people.
