Inspiration

We are people that like to shop a lot, sometimes without looking at our wallet. We wanted an interactive yet effective way for us to track our habits and make budgets.

What it does

Tracks spending habits and helps create a budget based on the data provided

How we built it

We used a kaggle dataset, streamlit to host our app, and coded using python, pandas, and plotly.

Challenges we ran into

How to make the UI interactive as possible, making sure the data was not corrupted while cleaning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to clean and visualize a data set as well as being able to submit a project for demo. We are also proud of being able to come together and produce a working app.

What we learned

We learned more about that visualization as that is present in both of our majors, and we also learned that UI design is a lengthy and detailed process to ensure that anyone who uses the website is able to use it smoothly.
