Inspiration

My girlfriend suffers from chronic illnesses and allergies, so we are familiar with the problem and wanted to create a solution.

What it does

It takes your chronic health conditions and allergies/sensitivities and builds a health profile for the user. analyzes individual products, and provides insights to help with purchasing decisions.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

Lots of UI challenges and trying to make everything visually appealing. There is also an "output language" error that i cannot fix for the life of me, but it still works fine. This was my first attempt at building a chrome extension. Another challenge was setting up the AI in the first place and actually getting an output. Also fetching ingredient information from the product page was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The badges on each product and the successful integration of AI in the side panel where user is given analysis and allowed to ask questions with the AI about the product.
