Photographers and creators have to manage equipment, schedules, shot lists, client requirements, and many last-minute changes during a shoot. We wanted to build an AI-powered assistant that helps creators prepare for and manage their shoots more efficiently.
What it does
ShootMate AI is an intelligent assistant for photographers and content creators. It can create equipment checklists, generate customized shot lists, organize shoot schedules, and provide useful preparation guidance based on the type of shoot.
How we built it
We are building ShootMate AI using AI and Amazon technologies. The application will provide a simple conversational interface where creators can describe their shoot and receive personalized recommendations and checklists.
Challenges we faced
As a first-time hackathon project, one of our biggest challenges was deciding how to turn a real-world problem into a useful AI experience. We also focused on keeping the application simple enough to use during a busy shoot while making the AI responses practical and relevant.
What's next
We plan to add voice interaction, smarter shoot planning, reminders, and more integrations to make ShootMate AI a complete assistant for photographers and creators.
