Inspiration
So i want to build a mixed reality hyper casual game within 7 days. So when i found about this hackathon i thought i would give a try.
What it does
Its a simple bottle shooting mixed reality game with various challenging levels.User opens a portal to vr world in his room and use logic to shoot the bottles.
How we built it
Using unity and meta xr sdk
Challenges we ran into
i have not implemented Selective passthrough before so that was a bit challenge to figure out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The game looks fine and we can expand this game with many more levels.
What we learned
So mixed reality games are lot cooler than i have thought before.
What's next for ShootEmUp
so i plan to implement 100 more levels with different portals and different themes and publish it to oculus store.
