Inspiration: Knee anatomy, civil engineering, work related injuries, PPE

What it does: Increased shock absorption in pre-existing hard hats

How we built it: focusing on the anatomy of the knee, we placed major structures of the knee on the head.

Challenges we ran into: logistics, material selection

Accomplishments that we're proud of: integration of biomimicry

What we learned: Even with pre-existing hard hats, there is no PPE that is 100% safe

What's next for Shock absorbing construction knee-caps: more extensive material research and logistical testing.
