Our inspiration for Sho'tLeftDomains came from the vibrant and adventurous spirit of South Africa. We wanted to create a tool that embodies the concept of "Sho't Left," a popular South African phrase meaning a short trip or adventure. We envisioned an app that makes navigating the complex world of Web3 domains as easy and exciting as taking a spontaneous trip.

What it does

Sho'tLeftDomains is a comprehensive Web3 domain management platform that leverages AI and blockchain technology. Users can generate unique domain names, buy and sell domains on a secure marketplace, register and manage their domains using blockchain, and analyze domain trends. The platform also includes AI-powered classification and recommendations, making it a one-stop-shop for all Web3 domain needs.

How we built it

We built Sho'tLeftDomains using a combination of cutting-edge technologies:

  • AI: Leveraged Amazon's Kendra for natural language processing and AI-driven insights.
  • Blockchain: Integrated Unstoppable Domains' APIs for secure domain registration and management.
  • Frontend: Developed a user-friendly interface using React.js.
  • Backend: Used Node.js and Express for the server-side logic, with MongoDB for data storage.
  • Smart Contracts: Utilized Solidity to create and manage smart contracts for transactions.
