ShiftSync

Inspiration

We noticed that many technicians struggle with managing multiple tasks, overlapping shifts, and constant updates. ShiftSync was inspired by the need for a simple, unified platform that keeps every technician organized, connected, and productive.

What it does

ShiftSync allows technicians to view, track, and update their tasks in real-time. It syncs shifts, automates scheduling, and provides live progress updates so teams can stay aligned and efficient.

How we built it

We built ShiftSync using HTML for the front end to ensure a modern, responsive interface and plan to work on the backend later.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges included syncing live updates across users, designing an intuitive yet powerful interface, and managing real-time data flow without delays or conflicts.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of creating a dynamic, user-friendly interface that makes task management simple for technicians. Building real-time syncing and clean UI animations that improve usability was a major win for our team.

What we learned

We learned how to handle real-time databases, improve team collaboration under deadlines, and design with the end-user experience in mind. We also deepened our understanding of backend integration and responsive front-end design.
