Inspiration
Long queues at hospitals and limited access to ambulances for emergency cases, distant healthcare facilities and scarce professional healthcare providers
What it does
It brings on board various professionals and healthcare facilities with different capabilities to allow for quick access and exact geolocation details with ease
How I built it
I used react-native for developing the frontend and user interaction part, with in-built mapping functionalities and integrations to fast responders such as Uber and existing ambulance applications
Challenges I ran into
Integrating and using geo-maps, exploring deep links to online taxi applications
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Ability to easily navigate and use the application without overloading the user's wait-time, quick response of the application and fast screen navigation
What I learned
Patience to learn and constant updates to existing knowledge. React-native is fascinating and interesting to use.
What's next for Shiftam
Improve on functionality and market it to become a remarkable life-saving application for even the remotest locations in the world
